Golfers get a healthcare boost

A local golf club’s junior team has been boosted by sponsorship from a BHSF.

The team of 15-17 year-olds from 101-year-old Carnwath Golf Club in Lanarkshire, is being sponsored by BHSF.

They play in the Lanarkshire Boys League and last year were runners-up
and for the last three seasons have qualified for the National Boys’ Competition, which takes place at Pathopark Golf Club, in Edinburgh.

Graeme Lewis is the regional sales manager for BHSF in the north of England and Scotland, and his son will be captain of the team in 2009.

Graeme said: “They are very talented and hard-working players and we have high expectations for them. The sweater sponsorship will give them a huge boost especially on competition days”.
