BHSF names two new board members
BHSF has appointed to new non-executive directors following a review of its corporate governance.
The move follows the retirement of a number of long-serving non-executives from the board of BHSF Group Limited.
The newcomers are:
David Oxtoby, MBA, an academic, teaching corporate governance and strategic management at post-graduate and professional levels at a number of universities and business schools, including Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Durham.
He also lectures on the Executive MBA programme at Warwick University. David has 16 years’ director experience, nine with general management responsibilities, at Tube Investments, Kenrick Hardware, Evered Holdings and Autobar Group. He joined the Board of BHSF Group Limited on April 2.
Bill Begg, BSc, is joining the Boards of BHSF’s four operating companies. He had a long and successful career in the automotive industry between 1974 and 2004 including senior positions with Land Rover, Rover International Markets, BMW Group and Jaguar, in Solihull, Rome, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Dubai and China.
In semi-retirement, Bill is still engaged in a variety of activities including an automotive consultancy in Pakistan, a holiday programme in Patagonia and a bagpipe business in Scotland.
