Welcome to the president

The president of the Birmingham Insurance Institute, Ian Harris, accompanied by the deputy president, Sue Glynn, office co-ordinator Sharon Williams and administration secretary Jackie Batchelor, visited BHSF.

BHSF is a nationwide provider of health cash plans and other health-related insurances and was established in 1873.  The chief executive, Peter Maskell, was the centenary president of the BII in 1987/8 and is now a vice-president.

The BII is the second largest provincial institute in the UK, organising the professional development of 4,100 members and a range of charitable and social activities in and around Birmingham.
