Financial experts join BHSF board

Two heavyweight financial experts have been named as new directors of BHSF.

Neil Mackay will join the board of BHSF Group Limited and David Edmonds will join the boards of BHSF’s subsidiary companies.

Neil, 53, started his career with Arthur Anderson and then gained commercial experience with Rank Xerox, Pitney Bowes and his own business, Applied Marketing Services.

He spent 15 years with Lloyds TSB Group where he held a number of senior positions in finance, IT and change management. For a year he ran his own interim management/consultancy business until joining Advantage Business Angels,  where he is managing director, in 2002.

David Edmonds, 59, spent 34 years with HSBC Bank, rising to area manager. Since leaving the bank he has held a number of positions, two non-executive and three managing director appointments including his present role as MD of Advantage Creative Fund. He is also chairman of the governors of Sutton Coldfield College. 

BHSF chief executive Peter Maskell said: “We warmly welcome both of them and look forward to contributions they can make to the development of the BHSF business.”
