Get the old grey matter working for the10th anniversary Brain Game in 2011

BHSF, the Midlands-based supplier of health insurance and employee benefits, is to sponsor the popular  Marie Curie Birmingham Brain Game for three years starting in 2011.

Brain Games are held in various parts of the country but the one in Birmingham is consistently the most successful.  The event has run in the city for nine years, being sponsored firstly by DLA Piper LLP and, for the past five years by Wesleyan Assurance Society. BHSF’ s sponsorship starts next year.

BHSF’s chief executive Peter Maskell said: “We are looking forward to being associated with this high-profile event which raises enormous sums for the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull, providing expert care and the best possible quality of life, totally free, for people with cancer and other illnesses.”

The 2010 Brain Game, held at the ICC, raised £124,000 for the hospice.

Sue White, Marie Curie’s Birmingham Brain Game co-ordinator, said: “We are delighted that BHSF has agreed to take on the sponsorship role.  This is always a fun night and we are looking forward to the 2011 Brain Game which will be held on 6 October, once again at the International Convention Centre.

“It will be the 10th anniversary of the Birmingham Brain Game and we will be celebrating in style.”
