Counting down to this year's fun run

Final preparations are under way for this year’s Coventry Fun Run.   Fun-runners are being told to check the website for the confirmed route, and to arrive early for the Fun Run warm up!

Sponsored by the BHSF, the Fun Run is taking place on Sunday 27th June, and the day is setting out to be as exciting as ever.  Touch FM will be there to welcome runners and help them through from start to finish. 

They’ll also be demonstrations from City of Coventry Brass Band.  Band leaders Phil and Leslie Wroe said;

“We’re chuffed to bits to be involved in this year’s Charity Village.  We’ll be showing Fun-runners all about brass instruments, as well as chearing on the runners!”

Fun Run Chairman John Townsley said;

 "The plans for the day are really coming together now, so we’re asking everyone to get registered, and to check out the website to see the latest news.  We are aiming for over 3,000 Fun-runners!”
