Help with payments
We have extended our claiming timeframe from 13 to 26 weeks for those that may have been or are now self-isolating.
Also, based on your feedback, we are pleased to confirm that charges for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), implemented by some private dental practices as a pre-requisite to receiving treatment, are being accepted by BHSF to provide greater support to all our policyholders during these unusual times. These payments will be carried out under the existing benefits limits, and in line with reimbursement percentages as outlined in your policy T&Cs.
This is currently a short-term allowance for our health cash plan policyholders, and BHSF’s stance in this matter will be reviewed periodically and may change.
If you’ve already had a claim for PPE declined which you would like to be reconsidered, please contact us and we will look into it for you as soon as possible.

Do you have a Physiotherapy Plan?
You may wish to look for treatment via Virtual Physiotherapy at this current time?
BHSF will pay these claims on any health cash plan with a therapies benefit provided the treatment is from a qualified practitioner who is on the Register of Physiotherapists of the Health and Care Professions Council.
If you find yourself in financial difficulty and are worried about continuing your plan.
BHSF want to take away some of that worry.
We can provide a payment holiday for up to 3 months.
You would not have to make premium payments on your policy for up to 3 months.
Claims would not be payable during this time, but once you are in a position to recommence your monthly premium, your policy will continue as normal without the need to pay the premiums from the previous months.
