Birmingham-based health and wellbeing business, BHSF, is celebrating after winning Best Health Cash Plan Provider at this year’s Workplace Savings and Benefits (WSB) Awards.
The awards evening, which took place at Royal Garden Hotel, London, recognises the best employee benefit providers from across the UK.
BHSF’s Connect Health Cash Plan stood out from the competition thanks to its innovative approach to workplace health and wellbeing. The health cash plan features a range of ‘added-value’ benefits all wrapped around lifestyle discounts platform – Network Benefits. Services are accessed via a web app which can be downloaded onto a smartphone, which puts the cash plan and other benefits into the hands of employees so they can be easily accessed at any time.
Judges stated that BHSF is ‘an insurer that works hard to maximise customer satisfaction, value and quality’. They highlighted that the Connect Health Cash Plan demonstrated value for money through its clients’ claim rates, and said it is ‘not just a cash plan but a wide-ranging health and wellbeing package’.
This follows two recent award wins in the Very Important Benefit Awards, for Best Healthcare Product and Best Health Cash Plan Provider.
Brian Hall, Managing Director at BHSF Employee Benefits, said: “We are delighted to have won a third award in as many months, it is great to be recognised by the WSB Awards for our continued commitment to developing products which support employee health and wellbeing.
“Technology has a major role to play in encouraging individuals to take responsibility for their own physical and mental health, and by making our health cash plan easily available via a web app, employers can put the tools in the hand of the employees to create a more productive, resilient and engaged workforce.”
BHSF was also shortlisted in the WSB Awards for Best Use of Technology for Benefits and Benefits Innovation of the Year.
