My Account Manager - Rachael Burrage - has always been very helpful and available when needed, whether it be for employee presentations or just for my general questions.
I used BHSF recently for myself and spoke to a pleasant helpdesk assistant called Neil Ryder. He followed up with a helpful email straight after that included URLs to find a physio and how to check they're part of the 'Health and Care Professionals Council'.
I think the fact our employees give regular positive feedback about BHSF speaks for itself. It's a very valued benefit and employees especially love the quick turnaround time to pay claims and how easy it is to use the services.
Can you provide any examples of how our plan has supported a healthier workplace or contributed to employee wellbeing?
Our employees regular advocate for this benefit, giving examples to others of how they've used the services. E.g. using the Optical benefit alongside the free eye test and contribution towards glasses they receive from us, their Employer. (I used it myself recently, so got a free eye test, 2 for 1 glasses with a well-known optical store and claimed the remaining £110 from BHSF so all of it ended up costing me nothing!)
We renew this benefit each year and having conducted a market review 2 years ago and last year, BHSF remains the most competitive. It would cost us more to provide the same level of benefits with another health cash plan vendor, so we remain committed to BHSF. There would have to be a strong reason for us to switch vendors when our employees love using BHSF so much.
BHSF remains the most competitive in the market - good level of benefits for the level of premiums we pay.
It's a great benefit to provide. Most of our employees are eligible for private medical insurance and we've found that the BHSF scheme complements it very well. Employees use BHSF for routine treatment - including dental - and the private medical for more in-depth treatment needed.
