How to make a claim online

Step 1: Start your claim

You can start a claim in two ways:

• Use the Quick Launch menu and click “Register a Claim”.
• Or go to “My Policies”, select your policy, click “View Details”, and choose “Make a Claim”.

Step 2: Agree to the terms

• Read through the Terms of Use carefully.
• Tick the box to confirm you’ve reviewed and agreed to them.
• Click “Next” to continue.

Step 3: Enter your claim details

• Enter the date on your receipt.
• Select who the claim is for - if you’ve added family members, their names will appear here.
• Choose the benefit you’re claiming (e.g. optical for an eye test).
• Enter the amount shown on your receipt.
• If your benefit isn’t listed, contact the BHSF Helpdesk.

💡 Tip: The Benefits and Claim Amounts box updates automatically to show how much you’ve already claimed and what’s left for the policy year.

Step 4: Add extra information (optional)

If you need to include any additional details, you can enter them in the Additional Information box.
For any questions, please contact our Helpdesk instead of adding them here.

Step 5: Review your claim

• Double-check all your details.
• When you’re ready, click “Next” to move on.

Step 6: Upload your receipt

• Upload a clear photo of your original receipt.
• For hospital claims, include any discharge paperwork.
• Card receipts alone aren’t accepted.
• Click “Next” to continue.

Step 7: Confirm payment details

• Select your saved bank details or add new details.
• Click “Next” when you’re ready.

Step 8: Submit your claim

• Review your claim summary carefully.
• If everything looks correct, click “Submit Claim”.

Step 9: Confirmation

Once submitted, you’ll see a confirmation message.
